Why we are here

Flip your habits into strength.

Choose and name your companion

Choose your companion.

They've been carrying everything your habit does to a body. Every day you stay free, they heal, and you get to watch it happen.

Milo and June are example names. In the app, you choose your companion and give them their name.

Your friend

A friend who heals as you do.

The grey lifts and the colour comes back. A pot appears at month one and grows white lilies through the year. You look after them, and they look after you.

Turvie covers smoking, vaping and alcohol, in any mix.

Something new every month

A new you every month.

A present arrives at the end of week one, then every month: things to wear, chosen for the season.

Milestones

Ribbons, lilies and a new friend.

Ribbons on the wall

At one, three and six months, then every year. They stay up for good.

Or a puppy

After a year, you choose one, and a name if you like. It grows up beside your friend through year two.

What it does

Built for the moments that matter.

These are the real screens.

The Today tab: the smoke-free day counter and I am a non-smoker, your friend in a Santa hat holding a note, a first ribbon on the wall and a young plant in a pot, links to dress your friend and share progress, the button I made it through today, and the person’s own reason, shown here as Milo.

Today

One tap a night.

Check in each evening with how the day felt. Mark the good things too: moved your body, slept well, got outside, drank water, helped someone. Each one shows up in your friend.

After a week the words change from becoming smoke-free to “I am a non-smoker.”

The craving screen: How strong is it right now? A row from 1 to 10, with the person's own reason and their plan above, and their friend breathing below.
Your friend breathing, with the line: Where do you feel it? Just notice it.

Breathe

Help the minute a craving hits.

A nicotine craving usually passes within three to five minutes, and fighting the thought can make it worse. Tap Breathe from any screen, rate the craving, and breathe with your friend for a minute as they guide you through it, with your reason and plan in front of you. Rate it again and see how far it eased.

Move with your friend: Let's move. Five minutes. Choose brisk walk, workout, dance or desk moves.
Moving with your friend: Keep dancing, 4:51 left, your friend dancing.

Games and moving

Something to do with your hands.

Still strong? Take three quiet minutes, move with your friend for five, or play a short game. Exercise cuts cigarette cravings in the moment, and a few minutes of a visual puzzle can cut craving strength by about a fifth.

Slide puzzle, Water balloon, Blanket puzzle and Spot the difference: three minutes each, and your friend is the star of every one. Or move with them for five minutes: a brisk walk, a workout, a dance or desk moves.

The Notes tab: an Important note, Every craving passes, whether you act on it or not, and a note from your friend: Love a life. Let's start with yours.

Slips

A slip, without the shame.

Tell your friend. They're poorly in bed for a day, and one good day gets them back up. A slip costs half the healing, never all of it, and every day you've had still counts.

The next day they talk it through with you and help you find a new way out. If your slips keep landing on the same day, they'll give you a heads-up before it comes round.

The Journey tab: up next, Seven mornings at 24 days, the album of a new you every month, and the improvements reached so far.
The Sources page in the app: the doctor reminder at the top, then Behind this card with the sources for Ask about your liver.

Journey

Every improvement, with its source.

From 20 minutes to 30 years, your Journey shows what your body gets back and when. Every card says where it comes from, and the source opens in one tap.

Each improvement you reach gets its own little celebration, one at a time.

The You tab: days free, cravings beaten, money kept, cigarettes not smoked, drinks avoided, life recovered, and a savings goal.

Your numbers

See what you get back.

The money you keep, the cigarettes and drinks you didn't have, the cravings you beat, and how close you are to the thing the money becomes.

Turvie also estimates the life you're getting back, and shows the research it's based on.

Free where it counts

Your first week has everything open, with nothing to sign up for. After that, Turvie Plus keeps your friend healing and all that comes with them, at $8.99 USD a month or $48.99 USD a year (about 55% less than twelve months). Your day counter, check-ins and craving support stay free, always.

The name

Turvie is virtue, turned around.

It starts topsy-turvy, like a messy week. Your friend gives it a bonk and the letters land as virtue, a word that first meant strength. That's the idea: flip your habits into strength.

The science

Built on research, shown in plain words.

Every health improvement in the app carries a label saying what kind of evidence it rests on, and links to its source. The science page explains why each part of Turvie is there.

Support, not a replacement for your doctor.

Turvie is a support tool, not medical treatment. Turvie is here to support you, not to replace your doctor. Check with a doctor as well as using the app, and before making medical decisions.
